The developer of Bloodborne has released a patch for the game. According to the announcement, the patch fixes various issues such as bugs, crashes, and other game-breaking errors.
Bloodborne is a horror game developed and published by FromSoftware, the studio that also created the Souls games. The game was released for PS4 in Japan on May 20, 2016.
For now, we know that the game will be coming to PlayStation 5. There was a rumor that the game could be a PS4 exclusive but nothing official has been confirmed yet.
We don’t know whether Bloodborne will be a launch game for PlayStation 5 or if it’s going to be released after the console’s release date. If you play Bloodborne on PS4 you’ll be able to continue playing it on PS5 but there will be a few differences. For example, the game’s resolution will change from 1080p to 4K.
In other news, the developers have posted new information about the game’s upcoming DLC content.
Bloodborne is set in the dark world of Yharnam, where a mysterious disease known as “bloodborne” has spread. The disease is believed to be the cause of the recent rise in monster activity in the area. The only known cure for the disease is to hunt down and kill its host—a monster known as a “Ghoul.” Players will face off against an assortment of terrifying monsters including Ghouls, Cactuar, and the Blood Queen herself.
The upcoming DLC content called “The Ringed City” will be available for purchase on July 19, 2019. This DLC pack will include four new weapons, four new armor sets, five new boss encounters, and one new map.
